| Cousins Properties is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust. Co. conducts substantially all of its business through its subsidiary, Cousins Properties LP (CPLP). CPLP owns Co.'s subsidiary, Cousins TRS Services LLC, which owns and manages its own real estate portfolio and performs certain real estate related services for other parties. Co.'s segments are based on the property type and geographical area. The segments by property type are: Office and Non-Office.
