| Green Plains is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is a producer of low carbon fuels. Co. has four operating segments: Ethanol Production, which includes the production of ethanol, including industrial-grade alcohol, distillers grains, ultra-high protein and corn oil; Agribusiness and Energy Services, which includes grain procurement and its commodity marketing business; Food and Ingredients, which includes its food-grade corn oil operations; and Partnership, which provides fuel storage and transportation services by owning, operating, developing and acquiring ethanol and fuel storage tanks, terminals, transportation assets and other related assets and businesses.
