| Darden Restaurants, Inc. is a full-service restaurant company. It owns and operates approximately 2,031 restaurants through subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada. It also owns 146 restaurants operated by independent third parties pursuant to area development and franchise agreements and four restaurants operating under contractual agreements. Its segments include Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Fine Dining, and Other Businesses.
